My Approach

At the core of my trauma work is a deep respect for the body's wisdom and its innate ability to heal. I employ techniques that promote nervous system regulation, compassion, validation, empathy, and attunement. My goal is to help you understand your responses to trauma and emotions, increase your capacity to stay present with discomfort, and foster greater self-acceptance and self-compassion.

In addressing trauma, I focus on the rejected, hidden, or shadow parts of the self that have emerged from traumatic experiences. I use somatic experiencing to help you slow down, attune to body sensations and emotions, and express unmet needs. This process allows for profound healing and integration of those parts.

Consent and Safety

Consent is the cornerstone of my sex therapy practice. I prioritize asking for permission and providing invitations throughout our work together. By encouraging you to slow down and listen to your gut feelings, I help you build a stronger connection to your desires and empower you to confidently say "yes" or "no."
