Brenda Gil Lopez

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Who I Am

I am a first-generation, Mexican-American immigrant, queer millennial woman who values knowledge, love, beauty, hope, and spirituality. I love tattoos, heavy metal, and traveling to culturally rich tropical places. Outside of therapy, I explore creativity through breathwork, meditation, and spiritual rituals to stay grounded and expand my consciousness.

My Journey

I became a sex therapist due to my experiences with childhood sexual trauma, hypersexuality, sexual infidelity, and kink. My goal is to challenge heteronormative and patriarchal structures that limit sexual expression and create shame. I support everyone in accessing their pleasure in whatever way they choose.

My Expertise

I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced sexual trauma, feel sexual shame, seek greater pleasure, or want to explore kinks, fetishes, and BDSM. My skills and experiences make me uniquely equipped to provide empathetic, knowledgeable, and non-judgmental support.
